My peptides package got seized

Hello there everyone, my peptides were seized and this sounds pretty strange to me. Is there anyone else who has ever had their peptides packages seized in the past?? I know it got seized because I’ve just got a letter which says that my package has been held by the post office and they hold it at the request of the FDA. I mean, I might be wrong but… I used to think that it has been all fully legal to order peptides, is this wrong? As I have read in the letter, they are now requesting either a written or an oral testimony regarding the admissibility of the articles FD&CA Section XXXXX… while I saw that one section is in regards to the manufacturing practice and the second section is in regards to the unapproved new drug.
I guess that right now, all I have to do is to hope that the address flagging thing it is only a theory talk and is not true otherwise it is quite a bit of a problem for me. And yet, I am still not very sure how or whether at all should I respond to it or not. Your experiences? Advices? Thanks.July 9, 2018 at 8:58 am #3921
It has been held by the post office and not by the customs? That sounds quite strange to me. I can guess that it is domestic since it is not the customs?July 12, 2018 at 8:46 am #3923
Yeah, it does says that it has been held by Post Office, not the customs, however originally they were not domestic as I have ordered them from Alibaba so they are coming from somewhere else.July 12, 2018 at 10:37 am #3924
As much as I know, there’s no need to be worried about any of legal implications for only the peptides, however that’s as much as I know but I am in any way no legal expert so you might want to keep on researching.July 12, 2018 at 10:58 am #3925GastonParticipant
As much as I can guess, this pretty much depends on how much you have ordered because if you’ve ordered a really big amount then it is not for personal use and these things have legal issues. What was the amount and the cost of your order?July 20, 2018 at 7:58 am #3940LoerronRParticipant

To be honest, I personally feel as if my package has been held by the Post Office then this would make me be even more nervous compared to if it would have been seized by customs. That’s because, from as much as I know, getting seized by the customs it, at very least, makes sense – they are customs. But as much as I know – as soon as it passes customs nobody has the right to open up and investigate your package unless they have the legal right to do so obtained from a judge. To get this legal right, your package must be suspicious. So, your package has been held by post office. I definitely do not want to scare you out but I personally never heard of a package being held by Post Office or by anything else other than customs.July 23, 2018 at 8:17 am #3947
I do get your point and I do understand what you are trying to say with this and your entire post:
So, your package has been held by post office. I definitely do not want to scare you out but I personally never heard of a package being held by Post Office or by anything else other than customs.
And yet, if it has been AAS then I would be tripping, however there is an argument in the defense and that’s the fact that it was only peptides. Whatever the case, I do understand that this is not a pleasant experience and that’s nothing good. In the end, I just hope that you’re going to be alright OP.July 23, 2018 at 9:20 am #3948
Well, I have ordered peptides worth 400 USD if this helps anything to give a better answer.
And yes, by the way, I’ve got to mention here that this is just not your usual seizure letter that you know either. That’s quite different and as much as it seems, it is a letter from the FDA, or that’s what it looks like. I have done quite a little bit of research around about this and as much as it seems, the person is also stopping legal Kratom orders either, or that’s what it seems.
I do know that theoretically, I could argue here and that’s since the peptides are being all fully legal to sell and to purchase for the research purposes. But on the second thought… I am just not sure if it’s all worth doing this because I realize that I just could end up getting even more attention by doing so and so I can get wind up finger printed and marked and that’s all definitely not a good outcome for me.July 23, 2018 at 9:59 am #3949GastonParticipant
hey… you know, to be honest, your second thought does sounds to be legit and you know… regardless with whom I was speaking to about these situations (and I’ve discussed with a lot of people and I have read a lot of threads in regards to this) where people are getting their package seized and got the letter – absolutely everybody has got their package taken away and they have never got their items back. With this being said, chances that you would get your peptides back are nearly zero and that’s why there is no point in responding or going to the Post Office, or at least, personally, if I would be you – I definitely won’t go there or try doing anything. However, I also need to mention here that although I’ve discussed with so many people and I have read so many threads about packages seized – this is the first ever seizure that I’m hearing from the FDA so to be honest, I’m not even sure what should you do in such situation.July 25, 2018 at 9:51 am #3955DointowParticipant
wow, that it is strange that most people here never heard about this letter and that’s because it does sounds to me as if it’s the exact same letter that I have got myself. Or at least, it does sounds to have the same wording about the postal service that it is holding your package for the FDA and so on and so forth with the article sections etc. etc. in the end, that’s still nothing to be worried about – simply go and get it reshipped from your source (in case your source is doing this at all).
