What is HGH?

Human Growth Hormone (rHGH, HGH, or GH), as the name suggests is a hormone that is responsible for the growth of the body through cell reproduction and regeneration. Also called somatropin, it is produced in the somatotropic cells in the pituitary gland. The HGH is a 191-amino acid single chain compound that is produced naturally, but can be also synthesized using the recombinant DNA technology. The naturally produced growth hormone is called Somatotropin (STH) and the human growth hormone is abbreviated as rHGH.
